Re: Graduation Ceremony of Newman College Ireland

Newman College Ireland is pleased to announce it will hold its first Graduation on April 28, 2018.

The ceremony will begin at 10:00am in St Finlough’s Church, Ballykelly, NI, with a Baccalaureate Mass celebrated by Sean Cardinal Brady, Archbishop Emeritus of Armagh.
The Graduation ceremonies will follow immediately in the Parish Hall of St Finlough’s.
In addition to the diplomas awarded to our first four graduates, the College is granting its first annual award, Courage in the Public Square, to Ms. Katie Ascough, for her determined and charitable stand for life as Student Union President of University College Dublin.

The College is also awarding its first honorary degree to Sr Consilio (née Eileen Fitzgerald), Founder of Cuan Mhuire, for her extraordinary work in establishing residential facilities and work opportunities for those suffering from alcoholism or other addictions, which have served over 77,000 people to date.
